An open race in which Desiderio and Llab Nala could be the two to concentrate on, and preference is for Desiderio. In truth, neither of these could be described as strong votes because each has continued to hit the frame rather than the winners enclosure. However as both have good draws, the only thing that seperates them is that our selection, Desiderio, has proven that he stays this trip. Although he let down favourite backers last time out, swift compensation may be gained here with the horse turned out after just a three day break. Dear Will returns to a mile for his handicap debut and a lowly mark of 57 makes him interesting but he still needs to step up on what he has shown to date, whilst Fools Gold tries a new trip and is one to watch in the market. Ile Royale is fairly consistent but ultimately winless, whilst Elegant Step represents a shrewd yard and therefore is one to keep an eye on in the betting as he steps back up in trip. A very open affair in which nothing leaps out, and so the tentative vote goes to Desiderio.
