Verdict

A trappy opener and Postmaster is the pick ahead of Alucica and Grey Gurkha. The selection isnt the most prolific of winners but he has put up some of his better performances in the past at this track and off a mark of 49, the assessor has him at his lowest for some time. Alucica has been raised minimally for a success over seven furlongs. She hasn't had all the luck in the world as far as previous draws are concerned but this is a fair enough one if good enough. Grey Gurkha is back to his best trip. He has stayed on in his two recent races and is watched in the market. Having A Ball was second in a weak Southwell claimer, more is required. Winged Farasi may be completely exposed but with Ron Harris back amongst the winners, he cannot be discounted. Hallings Overture is dropped in trip in an attempt to regain the winning thread. Fairy Festival has had less chances than most. A minefield for punters and Postmaster is the pick to small stakes.
