      In depth

      Verdict

Some out of form characters here and Desert Dreamer is the preference ahead of Landucci and Sir Douglas. Tom Dascombe's runners have been earning their corn over the winter and the seven-year-old kept on nicely to take a recent claimer at Lingfield and he can go well here tonight. Landucci has never quite delivered all that was promised. He never got going at Wolverhampton although this is his trip. Sir Douglas was scheduled to be turned out at Folkestone on Tuesday and the market is watched. Apache Dawn is on something of a losing run at present but he wasn't a million miles away when dropped to this grade previously. Satyricon has an inexperienced pilot abord tonight whilst The Jailer might be some way wrong at the weights but is always dangerous if gifted a soft lead. Desert Dreamer has more positives than most and he is afforded as the recommendaition.
