In depth

Verdict

West Coast Flyer won a less competitive contest over 1m6f at Chelmsford a week ago but could only manage fifth on an earlier attempt over course and distance. Lucky Deal landed a double over 1m6f last autumn and attempts today’s trip for the first time along with Jabbaar, who won at Chester last May and has placed in all eight subsequent starts. But CASTLELYONS (NAP) makes most appeal in this given he finished well ahead of Cayirli when runner-up in Class 2 company over track and trip on his latest start and should also have the measure of Diocletian in this lower grade.
