      Verdict

The much-travelled Severus has been running in Ireland but ran a very good race in a similar race to this here in June. Posh Bounty hasn't won at this level nor on an artificial surface but Let's Twist won over the course and distance in September and has to be respected. Veeraya has slowly come down the weights and, though he hasn't won for four years, his latest efforts put him in the picture. CONSULTING came here last month having won both previous starts on the track. He couldn't quite get to the front pair but wasn't beaten far and the assessor may have been lenient with a 1lb drop in the ratings so he's given the nod to get back to winning ways.
