Verdict

DANNY KIRWAN remains lightly-raced for a ten-year-old and has every chance if bouncing back from an Ascot fall last time. His previous run - second at Ascot behind the talented Our Power back in October - reads as strong handicap form and a repeat of that level would see him go close despite topweight. Latitude is a key player here too, having landed a decent Ludlow chase over this trip last time and he should remain competitive despite being hit with a 6lb hike. He was most consistent last term. Duc De Beauchene is respected after taking advantage of an attractive mark last time, but the assessor has reacted by putting him up no less than 11lb. Hiway One O Three and course and distance winner, Twenty Twenty, could also take a hand in receipt of plenty of weight all round.
