Verdict

Little Big Horse, Grattan Lodge and Silver Knight look the trio to concentrate on with preference for the last mentioned. Grattan Lodge has improved greatly for the switch to fences this term but this represents his stiffest assignment so far and we would rather stick with Silver Knight. The selection finished behind Little Big Horse at Market Rasen earlier this month but has a 6lb pull for a length-and-a-quarter. Added to that, Little Big Horse was having his first outing for a year that day and he may well bounce. There are no fears on that score for Silver Knight, who was not suited by the slow early pace that day and, with the likelihood of a stronger gallop here, he looks worth a bet. Eyze has been given a break since winning at Musselburgh in December and comes here fresher than most. He warrants respect, as do Peter Niven's recent Carlisle winner Mister Friday and the consistent Lazy But Lively, who has yet to open his account over fences. However, Silver Knight holds solid claims and gets the vote.
