      Verdict

Big Wheel had Star Trooper six lengths behind when winning over course and distance earlier this month and is fancied to confirm the form on 9lbs worse terms with Scippit appearing the only other danger. The last mentioned has shown signs of improvement in recent starts but is basically in the grip of the handicapper at present. Gilfoot Breeze and Thistlekicker face a stiff task from out of the weights proper and this is best left to Big Wheel. The Nicky Richards-trained gelding loves to hear his hoofs rattle and appreciated the fast ground when winning here last time. The eight-year-old won with plenty in hand that day and should be up to defying the rise in the weights.
