In depth

Verdict

BETANCOURT made a winning handicap debut over hurdles when scoring at Sedgefield during the week. He’s taken to defy a penalty in this company. Maoi Chinn Tire posted a better effort when a close-up third at Perth last time and Romulus Du Donjon was not beaten far when fourth over a shorter trip here last month and finishing in front of Topham Bay. Call The Cops continues to tumble down the weights without so far showing any benefit and the remainder make little appeal.
