In depth

Verdict

Cedar Hill won here in March and was still going well when falling at Ayr last time. The consistent Miss Amelia was no match for the winner when second at Cheltenham last month but MINT GOLD wasn’t beaten far when runner-up at Carlisle. Still improving on that evidence, another bold bid is expected from Lucinda Russell’s charge. Valence D'Aumont returned to action with a victory at Sedgefield though is upped a grade for this along with the veteran and recent Southwell third Baby King.
