If Monet's Garden can clear a hurdle fluently (and there is no reason to suspect he can't) then he will have a bright future and looks to be one to keep on the right of. The five-year-old made a very good impression on his debut in a strongly run bumper at Ayr in his only start to date and can be expected to make an impact sooner rather than later. The Roselier gelding may have the most to fear from Minster Fair, who is steadily improving without really setting the world alight. Reivers Moon and Mackenzie are others who will no doubt be popular choices and have to be respected. But Monet's Garden arrives here open to any amount of improvement and, as one that is certainly bred to far in the National Hunt sphere, he looks to be the most exciting of the bunch assembled here.
