    Verdict

    Mon Port has been looking a light of former days but has had wind surgery since last seen. Shanroe Tic Tec has had his chances and still looks too high in the weights but it will be a surprise if he’s not in the frame at least. PETITE DAME would probably have been placed had she not come to grief the last twice. She’s been quite lightly raced and should figure here with a clear round. Bizerta is not improving, however, with Lord Apparelli making more appeal in first-time headgear. Bagan has been dropped 2lb since a third at Ludlow but needs to settle better.
