In depth

Verdict

A competitive affair in which Down's Folly is preferred to Inch Pride and Master Albert. Down's Folly has not been the most successful of punting mediums but with Andrew Tinkler taking over from Mark Bradburne in the saddle, it is hoped that the change in riding arrangements can make the difference on this occasion. Inch Pride has ability but does not always consent to use it. She receives all the allowances but is not one to be trusted implicitly as she invariably hangs under pressure. Master Albert showed fair form for David Wachman in Ireland but is bidding to get off the mark in Britain for Jonjo O'Neill. Cloudless Dawn won well at Kelso and is of obvious interest as a rare raider from the Peter Beaumont stable. Moonlit Harbour has had many chances while Ma Furie looks to be still improving. A good race to watch and Down's Folly is recommended as the percentage call.
