In depth

Verdict

Clondaw Westie showed further progress over fences when scoring in testing ground at Fontwell and it was heavy going when Kilinakin came good over 2m at Leicester. Both have been raised 7lb today though Road To Rome has gone up only 2lb despite going close at Ludlow last month and he makes more appeal. But BALLY GILBERT (NAP) also found one too good over course and distance last time and the winner has subsequently gone in again. Ben Pauling’s charge gets another chance racing off the same mark today. Minella For Me fell at the first behind the selection last time while Hey Bill won his penultimate start and was still in with a chance when brought down at Taunton last time.
