In depth

Verdict

O'Callaghan Strand tends to be called a few rude name by certain pundits but he's now 4-19 over fences and showed a tenacious side to his character when claiming The Society Man very late on earlier this month at Market Rasen. He may well go in again but WATERED SILK looked an improved performer over fences when scoring on just his third start at Uttoxeter last month and looks on the upgrade for Lucy Wadham, a shrewd placer of her charges. Milgen Bay has looked in the grip of the handicapper on recent starts so Oliver Sherwood will be pleased to see that his consistent gelding has been dropped 4lb since his last run which could well bring him into the argument.
