In depth

Verdict

Royal Shakespeare gained an overdue success over fences last time out and can follow up this afternoon, Another Promise and Rasharrow look to be the obvious dangers. Royal Shakespeare got off the mark in great style when comfortably beating the decent Trouble At Bay a Kempton. That victory will have done his confidence the world of good and he can give weight and a beating to these rivals. Another Promise has been a revelation this season, winning three contests in the style of a decent chaser. He will make the most of the three pounds he gets from Royal Shakespeare and he will make it a tough fight. Rasharrow has a bit to find with the selection on their running at Kempton back in December but is still learning the game and may get a lot closer this afternoon. The rest of the field look up against it and so it what is virtually a three horse war Royal Shakespeare is given the nod.
