Verdict

OWEN GLENDOWER has to concede weight all round but may be up to the task. Successful at Ludlow in November, he ran well in handicap company subsequently at Doncaster and this is a lot less competitive. Megastar was a good bumper horse and won on his hurdling debut last season but he's only managed to beat one home in four starts over fences, while Qaspal has only run once in the last two years but is a three-times hurdles winner. The others are hard to recommend on what they've shown so far.
