In depth

Verdict

Mazalto showed some ability on the Flat but didn’t manage a win in 11 attempts. Aardwolf won three times for Mark Johnston but didn’t appear to get home at Wincanton having held every chance off the home turn. Brecon Hill won a couple of bumpers for Sally Haynes so stamina won’t be an issue with that one on his hurdles bow but WORLD PREMIER gets another chance. A half-brother to three winning jumpers, he has already won a bumper and is surely better than he showed when well supported in an above-average maiden at Newbury in December. Diva Du Maquis would need to improve on what she’s shown so far to figure.
