In depth

Verdict

Plenty of imponderables but Cave Of The Giant has proven form in the book and he can account for Sea Wall and Surface To Air. Tim McCarthy's runner has been keeping company with much better animals than today and if the step up in trip suits, he is very difficult to get away from. Sea Wall has to be respected in spite of some fairly ordinary form figures. A winner on the level for Roger Charlton - he has shown little over hurdles but it is difficult to believe that we has completely lost his way in such a short space of time. Surface To Air was second to The Luder at Wincanton on soft ground. Quest On Air is a regular in banded stakes on the level and should be fit. Seal Harbour failed to build on promise shown in a first bumper start and is watched. Cave Of The Giant has form on the board and he appears the percentage call.
