In depth

Verdict

ARIAN broke a blood vessel in a Listed chase at Leicester last month but had finished a creditable second to First Drift, rated 127, on her chasing debut at Hereford earlier. John Flint’s mare should go close back in handicap company with a repeat of that form. Broughtons Rhythm has placed in three of his five starts over fences and can figure once again but Paddy's Poem and All Is Good have yet to threaten despite making the frame. Templier and Master Vintage make their chasing debuts with the former preferred.
