Verdict

THE UNIT never figured stepped up to Listed company in a bumper at Cheltenham on his reappearance but could be a useful recruit to the hurdling ranks and is taken to overcome inexperience to get the better of good yardstick Tippmanboy. Richard Newland's charge has only found one too good in three runs over hurdles this season and has come up against useful novices in his last two. The others are probably playing for places but Centreofexcellence might be worth following on his debut for Gary Moore as he was third in a point-to-point at Tinahely in October and in front when falling at Grennan the following month.
