    Verdict

TOT OF THE KNAR is turned out quickly here after her victory at Sedgefield and connections should be rewarded. Peter Bowen's mare has improved to an extent which nobody could have predicted when she commenced her winning sequence back in the summer for Alison Thorpe. Off her current mark she will prove difficult to place as she lacks the class for winning graded contests. Connections will presumably be anxious to try and pick up some black type with her and they should do at some point. Midsummer Magic and Call Me A Legend appear the biggest dangers to Tot Of The Knar. Midsummer Magic has been strongly supported in bumper company but has left her supporters down on each occasion. Stepping up to 2m 4f should suit her while Call Me A Legend was out-pointed by a horse with more flat speed at Uttoxeter. She was the stables number one string for the mares bumper at Aintree and is a high-class sort on her day while stepping up in trip will also suit. Bahia Blanca is Nicky Henderson's second runner and it will be interesting to see how she shapes in the market relative to her stable companion. She finished behind a smart mare in Diklers Oscar last time, that mare franking the form at Wetherby subsequently. Tot Of The Knar is given the vote to win it.
