Verdict

Another wide open contest rounds off the card and many have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Carlys Quest, Canny Scot and Who Cares Wins and the tentative vote goes to Carlys Quest. The selection won well last time out in a similar contest when defeating Jim Jam Joey and with conditions again in his favour he will be hard to beat despite rising in the weights. Canny Scot rates the main danger he has won his last two races in good style but they have come on faster ground and this softer surface is not sure to suit so he is passed over on this occasion. Who Cares Wins is another that could go well he was a fair second behind Speed Venture last time and that form has since been franked. Of the remainder Dr Charlie landed a gamble when defeating Cullian last time but he will find this harder under his penalty and for the winner we return to Carlys Quest.
