Verdict

Plenty of trainers better known for runners on the Flat are represented in this. Shield Of Honour finished ahead of Kiss My Face, Flamingo Rose and Inmemoryofmilly when runner-up at Market Rasen but it would be no surprise if Brian Ellison’s charge, who ran green, did best of that trio today. Andrew Balding’s Roman Knows is a Flat-bred son of Holy Roman Emperor so should have the speed for this. Eileendover is also Flat bred but this can go to SILENT PARTNER with Marcus Tregoning’s Fast Company gelding catching the eye when in the frame at Exeter three weeks ago. Herbiers is penalised for winning in the French Provinces earlier this year.
