Verdict

DAN GUN followed up his earlier course and distance victory with another cosy success at Taunton and is worth sticking with until the handicapper properly intervenes. Emma Lamb was an expensive failure at Sedgefield and doesn’t appear to have improved for a switch of stables but Twenty Twenty should be thereabouts again if a first-time visor has the desired effect. Pagero has the past form to figure and Fawsley Spirit has a squeak, though Tel’Art may be the pick of Ben Pauling’s two runners. Winding Roe only won a three-runner maiden two runs ago and was well beaten on his handicap debut.
