Verdict

Houseparty didn't really fire at Newbury after going close on his debut at Newcastle but this looks less competitive and he should be thereabouts. Lataradud was far from disgraced on his reappearance at Kempton but stablemate Numerology was well beaten on his only start at Towcester last October and Dungeness weakened quickly at Hereford in January. Alan King has a good record with his bumper horses here and DESERT ROBE's dam was a decent hurdler. This son of Desert King wouldn't need to be anything special to score on his racecourse debut.
