Verdict

Mr Cardle ran green on debut at Sedgefield in May but still only found one too good. He should go close here if learning from the experience but FATHER EDWARD was very impressive when well backed at Fontwell just a few days later and could be good enough to defy the extra 7lb. Presenting The Way was runner-up at Newton Abbot in April on his first start under Rules while Yes I Will and Arakelton should progress from initial efforts. Urban Hymn has won a point-to-points and In The Rough may be the pick of the newcomers.
