A disappointing finale should go the way of Grecian Groom, with Kaddasan the one for the forecast. This bumper has cut up badly, with just five standing their ground, including Jonjo O'Neill's Grecian Groom, who on all known form should leave his rivals standing. He beat subsequent winner Mumbles Head convincingly on his debut over the course-and-distance in April, and although off since, should have too much know-how for this lot. He is quite well-bred, the dam being a half-sister to the likes of Multicoloured and Gamut, and it will be a surprise if he does not go on to better things when sent hurdling eventually. Kaddasan will be all the better for his return to action at Market Rasen 10 days ago, but his third to Mischief Man is nothing special, and he may need further in time. The market may reveal whether the John Jenkins newcomer Sir Leonard is expected to run well, but the booking of Richard Johnson is encouraging. However, this is best left to Grecian Groom.
