Verdict

SONGE won this race last year on his return from a lay-off and a repeat looks in the offing. Charlie Longsdon's charge is 13lb higher this time around but he still looks the most likely winner given the weakness of the opposition. Wake Board was left clear when the two horses in front departed four fences out at Worcester last week and he looks the biggest danger ahead of recent Newton Abbot fourth I'm A Legend. Kikos was in fine form during the summer but has gone off the boil and Max Bygraves has failed to complete his last two starts.
