Verdict

EVER SO MUCH was conceding 9lb to For Jim when only beaten a length by the top weight at Cartmel at the end of May. Ben Haslam’s veteran has only run twice here over hurdles and won both and it could be worth forgiving him a poor effort at the Cumbrian track six weeks ago. Jennie Candlish’s charge has continued in excellent form and won’t go down without a fight but Trumps Benefit seems better suited to fences nowadays.
