Verdict

Okotoks won a bumper and a hurdle race in Ireland but looked in trouble when blundering and unseating his rider at the second-last at Uttoxeter on his fencing bow. CAIUS MARCIUS, a winner four times over hurdles including once here, made a perfectly respectable start over fences at Perth. He wasn’t given a hard time and progress is expected here. The remaining trio are likely playing for places if there are no mishaps.
