Verdict

On a couple of occasions recently Descaro hasn't appeared to get home over 2m4f so how he'll fare over this stiff 3m is anybody's guess. Failed chaser Sparkling Tara is also best watched but Via Archimede was third in a course and distance handicap eight days ago and should feature, though has a lot to do at the weights against MIA'S VIC. Noel Kelly's gelding has been competing in much better company in Ireland and his class can see him home over this longer trip. Mongress Boy was second at Worcester last month and looks the pick of the remainder.
