In depth

Verdict

Maggio has done well on his various forays from across the Irish Sea and should be a leading player once again. However, he does have to give weight away to all his rivals of whom FLAMING ARROW, a rare hurdles runner for the Kevin Ryan team, makes greatest appeal. He has proved a consistent performer over timber and looked on the upgrade when obliging comfortably at Fakenham last time but it's his previous effort when hunting up the talented Cockney Sparrow at Doncaster, giving the winner a stone, that really catches the eye. Moscow Presents found Class 3 handicap company at Haydock too much to handle last time but previous hurdling efforts, including a comfortable Towcester success, definitely bring him into the equation.
