Verdict

The two at the foot of the weights need to find plenty as both are out of the weights whilst Black Kettle is searching for form since joining Micky Hammond last November. He's one to note in the market though as rediscovery of his best would see him involved. Stablemate Roxyfet is a fine servant to his yard and rates the solid option but Maurice Barnes has his string in excellent nick at present and QUICK BREW can go close for the stable if able to build on a much-improved effort the last day when a good third over course and distance behind Civil Unrest when beaten just under four lengths. He's also down to a mark of under 100 for the first time since October 2016.
