In depth

Verdict

Lady Ra's supporters will be hoping for a good run from Scorpions Sting in the first division as the mare beat that one here at the start of the month. SLEEP IN FIRST got going too late behind Ash Park, who also runs earlier on the card, at Cartmel last time. The top weight last won off an 11lb higher mark and could end his drought if racing closer to the pace today. Cupid's Quest has been getting closer around here and will be hard to keep out of the frame and four-times course winner Morning Time could be a factor but the others all appear to have some improving to do.
