In depth

Verdict

Those towards the head of the weights are currently struggling for form and and the eye is inevitably drawn to Real Armani and CUDGEL, who were separated by just half-a-length over course and distance at the end of March. There's nothing between them at the weights although it will be interesting to see if either or both reproduce that form on quicker ground. The latter is just preferred to take his revenge as he's been coming home strongly and Conor O'Farrell is a talented hold-up jockey. Scorpo is a possible if able to follow up his 40/1 victory at Sedgefield last time while Shanroe Street and Little Orange could also play a part.
