      In depth

      Verdict

Amalfi Storm has been beaten off lower marks in his last four starts but has been running consistently well and may be worth another chance in what appears a weak contest where the main dangers look to be Bolshoi Ballet and Bodfari Signet. The last mentioned is gradually slipping to a fair mark and showed signs of a revival at Perth last time but probably could do with some more help from the handicapper. Brian Storey's Timbuktu has plenty of form on a fast surface and cannot be completely discounted with ground conditions to suit, while Hugs Destiny would have claims on his best but has not shown that for some time now. A market move for top weight Bolshoi Ballet would be of interest but a safer bet looks to be Amalfi Storm, who is taken to gain a well deserved success under ground conditions that suit.
