      Verdict

      Theo Gillard has ridden WAZOWSKI the last twice so maybe it would be unwise to make too much of the fact that Brian Hughes rides stablemate Birch Vale. The top weight, who has been in good form at Bangor, looks the one to beat with Think Ahead’s second at Cartmel coming in a conditionals’ race. Bobndave has placed form in novice events here but didn’t show much on his handicap debut.
