        Verdict

        Just a few to concentrate on in this Novices' contest. Mercede proved to be a tough customer last time and is respected on that effort - as is Prairie Run, who has already won over the course and distance. However, Abinitio Lady has long-threatened to take a contest of this nature and can be given one more chance. She hails from a stable that have shown hints at a return to form lately and she could well continue the run of good form.
