Verdict

SOLO SAXOPHONE (NAP) landed a gamble at Wetherby last Thursday without breaking sweat. He is clearly a long way ahead of the handicapper at present and a 7lb penalty here is unlikely to prevent a quick double. Saint Freule won here in November and returned from a break to record a second course victory last month. However, both of those races were over 2m on ground with some give. Fisher Green may now be in the handicapper’s grip but Becky The Thatcher usually gives a good account.
