    In depth

    Verdict

Jasperito, winner of a handicap hurdle at Perth in the spring, is likely to be all the rage here as he is out of a Strong Gale mare and should appreciate the switch to fences. But PAPAMOA wasn't disgraced on his first start over the larger obstacles here last month, despite finding the 2m1f trip too sharp. This will be much more to his liking and he gets the nod. Ifandbutwhy has been placed in three of his five starts over fences but unseated his rider in a handicap over 2m5f here last month, though is still preferred to the returning Borderhopper and Over And Above.
