Verdict

This may be a low-grade handicap but it looks quite competitive. Civil Unrest is back on the same mark as when successful over course and distance in April of last year. He seemed to lose his confidence in the spring but has been placed three times over hurdles lately. John Williams, a winning pointer, is tumbling down the handicap and could be interesting. Halcyon Days wasn't beaten far over track and trip in June off today's mark but SHINE A DIAMOND is thrown in on his old form. He is sure to have benefitted from a spin over hurdles at Perth last month and makes more appeal than stablemate Morning Time and the others.
