Verdict

A big field here but there are plenty of poor performers among it and we'll take NEVSKY BRIDGE to land it, while Diktatorship might prove the main danger. The selection fell heavily when in the process of running a decent race behind Striking Article here last time and now switches back to hurdles from the same mark of 84. The minimum trip is ideal and he acts well in the mud, so we'll side with him. Diktatorship stays beyond this, so there is every chance his stamina will be an advantage. He ran well when last seen in May and acted well enough on heavy ground on his only previous try so he can get involved. If Isle Of Man raider Nifty Roy is fit after his break he could show up well, as he stays well and also handles some cut. There are also possibilities for Hareem, who put in a decent run at a similarly stiff Towcester circuit last time and also handled heavy ground on one previous try. Digital Media represents powerful and in form connections, but has a bit to prove after a couple of flops and now reverts to hurdles and we'll take Nevsky Bridge against the field. (Jonathan Doidge)
