Verdict

A weak affair in which Solway Legend, the only previous course and distance winner in the line-up, is sure to be popular even though he's been raised a pound since his latest third at Carlisle and has never won off a mark this high. He had Kilmainham well behind at Perth in September with the latter soon beaten at Ayr last week once headed. Forty Crown still appears out of sorts so we'll take a chance on winning pointer KALASTAR. Only six, he was just beaten in a hunter chase here in May so has ability and a mark of 95 is hardly restrictive on his handicap bow.
