    Verdict

Civil Unrest was second off a higher mark here in the spring and made a shock return to winning ways over hurdles at Bangor last month. Miss Conway is bidding for a fifth win over these fences and looking to complete a four-timer but she’s gone up another 9lb since her latest victory. QUICK BREW ran well twice at Perth last month and is another who goes well here. Maurice Barnes’ nine-year-old may be the pick of the weights today with Exitas preferred to Boss Des Mottes of the others.

    Formwatch

Exitas (IRE) 8-1 (11-3) Chased leaders, hampered and lost place 10th, chased leaders again 3 out, soon outpaced, weakened last, 5th of 7, 16l behind Hedgeinator (10-11) at Newton Abbot 2m 5f hcp (4) gs in Aug.

Miss Conway 11-4 (11-12) Led, blundered 4th, headed 9th, led after 3 out, clear before last, stayed on, won at Hexham 2m hcp (5) gd in Aug beating Dica (12-4) by 6l, 12 ran.

Quick Brew 10-1 (10-9) In touch, headway approaching 3 out, 2nd after 3 out, kept on same pace, 2nd of 6, 2 1/4l behind Valleyofmilan (11-8) at Perth 3m hcp (4) sft in Aug.

Boss Des Mottes (FR) 10-1 (11-5) Held up in touch, tracked leaders 7th, outpaced 3 out, soon lost place, ridden and kept on under pressure flat, just failed for 3rd, no chance with clear pair, 4th of 7, 17 1/4l behind Skilled (11-12) at Southwell 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in Aug.

My Idea 12-1 (10-9) Held up in rear, headway before 9th, outpaced 3 out, some headway before last, no impression, 5th of 12, 7 1/4l behind Miss Conway (11-12) at Hexham 2m hcp (5) gd in Aug.

Civil Unrest (IRE) 33-1 (11-5) Led until 1st, prominent, not fluent 5th, led after 3 out, mistake last, driven out, won at Bangor 2m 1f hcp (4) gd in Aug beating Mizen Master (11-12) by 2l, 13 ran.
