Verdict

Jurys Out was still travelling when unseating his rider over course and distance earlier this month. He was making his chasing debut that day so there should be more to come. Stupid Cupid chased home Monday’s Ludlow winner Overawed at Uttoxeter at the start of the month and Conas Taoi found some consistency at the start of the year, though lacks a recent run and is not the force of old. Nakadam, Royal Claret, Copperfacejack and Hard To Forget are all capable in this grade but High Counsel has been looking one paced in lesser company. CLONDAW RIGGER (NAP) probably produced a career-best at Chepstow last time and is a past winner around here so ticks plenty of boxes.
