In depth

Verdict

Jaloux D'Estruval provided something of a shock when winning here earlier in the month at 100/1. He probably beat little of note that day and faces a sterner task now under a penalty. Winning pointer Cloudy Creek is sure to have his supporters and will be difficult to keep out of the frame, as will Echo Du Lac, who is progressing nicely. However, a chance is taken with Dragon Hunter, who was still going well when departing at Warwick. He had jumped well up to that point and providing that fall hasn't affected his confidence, he looks the one to beat. Useful hurdler Its Only Polite has less to do than when chasing Joss Naylor around Uttoxeter and could go well at a decent price.
