In depth

Verdict

POLISKY was tackling Grade 2 contests over hurdles prior to a confidence-boosting win at Wincanton in March. Though beaten by Victor Leudorum at that track subsequently, the winner is no slouch and Paul Nicholls' French import will be suited by the switch to fences. He should justify likely shorts odds here as he gets 14lb from Wetherby and Perth scorer Stonethrower. Despite finishing last at Ffos Las on his chasing bow, Gambo wasn't beaten far and could also figure ahead chasing newcomer Red Not Blue.
