Terrible Tenant is the pick ahead of Magot de Grugy, Marked Man, Drumossie and Abutilon in an open affair. Terrible Tenant has already won three times round here, and showed his well being by returning to form at Wincanton the other week, gaining victory despite his rider Richard Young losing his irons over the last. He goes on the ground and still appears reasonably handicapped, so is the pick in an open contest. Mago de Grugy posted a couple of decent placed efforts earlier in the year, but has been absent since unseating at the first at Newton Abbot in June. Marked Man stayed on when third at Stratford, and is not certain to be suited by this drop back in trip, while Drumossie was also one-paced at Hexham last time, so he at least should like the distance of today's race. Abutilon could not peg back Rowdy Yeats at Market Rasen three weeks ago, but has time on his side at the age of four, and all in all, this is a close one to call, with narrow preference for Terrible Tenant.
