In depth

Verdict

PARLESOTHO is in good form and she can get the better of Aussie Deal and Covert Mission. Alan King has his string in decent form at present and the selection ran well when chasing home Edgbriar at Newbury. The front two came well clear of the rest of the field that day so the form looks decent enough and she looks to hold sound claims. Aussie Deal has got some solid bumper form and she won with a bit in hand when she beat Kateal at Exeter last time. She will go on the ground and this extra furlong will suit so she is entitled to plenty of respect. Covert Mission will relish these ground conditions and she won well last time out, but this looks a tougher assignment today under a penalty. Double Hit beat Covert Mission when last seen out and she remains unexposed so Donald McCain's mare is another one that can't be dismissed lightly. This is a good race and narrow preference is for Parlesotho.
